

Josephine is twenty and is in her second year at The Royal College of Music where she studies with Patricia Rozario OBE and is supported by a Foundation Scholarship.
Throughout the past few years Josephine has given a number of recitals in All Saint’s Church, Clifton, The Barrow Gurney Festival and in Bristol Cathedral. She has also performed in St. George’s, Bristol and the Colston Hall, where she had her first professional engagement at the age of fourteen.
Josephine has also had success on a local and national level, she was named Singer of the Year at the National Rotary Multi-district Young Musician Competition in May 2009 and in 2010 she was won the May King Award for Most Outstanding Singer in Bath. In October 2011, due to her exceptional first year recital mark, she was entered into the Kathleen Ferrier Society's Bursary Award along with fifteen other young singers, and managed to reach the final.
Josephine has performed the roles of Dido from Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Mabel from Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance, Angelina from Gilbert and Sullivan’s Trial by Jury. She is also a regular soloist with a number of local choral societies and was most recently sang with Her Majesty's Grenadier Guards in Bristol Cathedral.
Josephine is currently based in West London but is available for concerts all over the country.
